Smart homes shouldn't feel like homework.

Three reasons most people give up after the first weekend.

A weekend lost in YAML.

Most platforms ask you to configure each device by hand, in a config file you'll never want to touch again.

Built for tinkerers, not households.

If automating your kitchen requires a Reddit thread and a soldering iron, it isn't really for the family.

Still you doing the work.

Schedules need updating. Scenes need re-tuning. The smarter the home gets, the more you maintain it.

Three steps. Then it's quiet.

From unboxed Pi to a household that takes care of itself.

  1. Flash mirlai OS.

Onto a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5, or any compatible mini PC. Cloud hosting coming soon.

  2. Power up and connect.

Mirlai finds the devices already on your network — 3000+ brands work out of the box: Philips Hue, IKEA, Sonos, Matter, Zigbee, Z-Wave.

  3. Let it learn.

Mirlai watches what you actually do, then proposes routines. You approve, it acts. Nothing leaves your home.

Three things nothing else gets right.

Learns by itself.

Turn up the heat every morning at 7:10 for a week, and mirlai offers to do it for you. Every suggestion is yours to approve — you stay in control.

Works with everything.

3000+ device integrations. Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, Wi-Fi. If it's in your house, mirlai probably knows how to talk to it.

Made for humans.

One app, designed for anyone in the house. No admin panel, no YAML, no Reddit threads required.

The dashboard

Your whole house, in one calm glance.

One greeting. One status. A handful of scenes. Tap one and the house follows — lights, sound, climate, the lot.

The interface gets quieter the longer you use it — mirlai stops asking once it knows.

The mirlai home dashboard — 'Your home is calm' greeting with scene chips and a suggestion card.
Mirlai's home map view — eight rooms (Living, Cocina, Comedor, Dormitorio, Estudio, Patio, Entrada, Baño) plotted across a soft floor plan.

Discovery

Your home, already found.

Mirlai scans your network for what's already there — lights, speakers, thermostats, locks. It learns which room each one belongs in, on its own.

No walking through with a phone. No naming things one by one. The map fills itself in.

Runs on what you already have.

Mirlai is a piece of software. Bring your own hardware — small, quiet, sips power.

Recommended

Raspberry Pi 4 / 5

Under $80. Fanless, sips 5W. Mirlai runs comfortably on a Pi 4 with 4GB RAM — plenty for a household with dozens of devices.

Mini PC · x86_64

Any modern Intel or AMD mini PC works. Worth the upgrade if your house already has 50+ devices, or if you want headroom for cloud-assisted suggestions.

Questions, answered.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Mirlai is designed for any adult in the house, not for sysadmins. The whole point is that it removes the steps that used to require code.

What devices does it support?

Over 3000 brands across Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, and Wi-Fi. If it's a major brand of light, lock, thermostat, sensor or speaker, it probably works.

When does it launch?

Closed beta in Q3 2026. Public release in Q4 2026. Sign up for the waitlist below and we'll reach out when it's your turn.

Does my data leave my home?

No. Everything mirlai learns lives on your device. Cloud-assisted suggestions are opt-in and never include your raw activity.

What happens if my Pi breaks?

Your routines and device map are backed up. Flash mirlai OS on a new device, restore the backup, and you're back in minutes.

Is there a mobile app?

A polished web app for now — it works beautifully on phones. Native apps coming soon.
